Castle Constructor Alpha 2.5 and 2.6


Here is the changelog for the last two updates. Alpha 2.5 brought in an improved campaign with actual rewards from beating levels instead of just getting an extra pack of cards to start with.  We also added some cursors when the mouse is over a section that can be activated so that the game is a little clearer. It also comes with a couple bug fixes and balancing changes.

  • Fixed the ballista not shooting.
  • Added unique cursors when hovering over sections that can be activated to make it a little more clear.
  • Ballista damage has been reduced from 3 -> 2 but it now passes through enemies and will deal damage to each one.
  • Made the ballista bolt slower when in the air.
  • Adjusted the difficulty so that it starts a bit easier but ends a bit harder
  • Fixed an issue with the new card pack selection window popping up at the same time as the victory window.
  • Added the missing Side of Hill level to  the creative mode level selection
  • Made adjustments and improvements to several levels

Alpha 2.6 brings in even more level updates and two new levels. The levels have been updated with new ramps to fix some issues with enemy pathfinding and improve the performance of the game. Two new levels have been added to the game, Ridge and Pine Forest. The other changes and fixes are below.

  • Fixed and issue with using the undo button in creative mode as well as the button placement
  • Murder Holes no longer drop rocks into a water tile.
