Alpha 0.3


Another patch is ready with some further bug fixes and a few improvements. You can see the full list below. With this done we next plan to focus on improvements to the Wellness and the Exploration systems and adding in the faction selection screen.

Changes:

  • Reduced the total wellness needed to unlock the wellness wonder from 50->30
  • When getting one of the techs that adds a resource to a random planet it now shows which planet was selected.
  • Added progress displays to the wonder unlock requirements.
  • Changed exploration tiles to display their cost using 1, 2, or 3 ship icons instead of a number in parenthesis.
  • Planets are now different sizes based on the number of slots they have when generated. 2 slot planets are a bit smaller than the original size, 3 slots are the same size, and higher slot planets are bigger.
  • Changed the look of simple tooltips in several spots to make them look better and so the text is easier to read.
  • Adjusted when the exploration wonder is granted to be after accepting the first secret of the universe instead of when displaying the event so that the panels aren't up at the same time.
  • Added some text to the Refugees exploration event to indicate that empty slots are required to take in some or all of the refugees.

Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where resources added by techs or exploration events would be lost as soon as the card values were updated again. Such as when placing a new building on the planet. This also caused the galactic network wonder to only give 2 metal.
  • Wishlist button no longer overlaps the victory text.
  • Fixed an issue where you could click a building slot multiple times and it would take the cost of the building each time.
  • Fixed an issue with some exploration events where the text wasn't being properly parsed when handling icons.
  • Fixed an issue where earning exploration points was not updating if exploration points could be applied to a crisis.
  • Fixed the Scout Squadron name not being correct.
  • Fixed an issue where t2 buildings were not lighting up when they could be built.
  • Fixed the decay points moving to the top left corner of the screen instead of to the proper location on the wellness system panel.
  • Fixed an issue where owned techs could be set back to available if you completed a tech earlier in the tree that linked to one of the owned techs. 
  • Fixed an issue where the Wellness reward selection panel would not respond if a tech was earned at the same time and the panel was visible behind it. 
  • Earning exploration points now properly grants as many missions as there are points for instead of only giving one at a time.
